This recipe for baked asparagus is a ready-in-30-minutes or less, and there is minimal hassle and fuss. Asparagus is a low-calorie, highly nutritious vegetable. It is high in potassium, Vitamins A, B, and C, and works as a diuretic. Asparagus also provides roughage for your intestinal system.
How to
You can incorporate your own seasonings, but this recipe calls for garlic cloves (sliced or diced small or garlic powder if you don’t have cloves, rosemary, salt and pepper, and olive oil.
Begin by washing the asparagus, and then drain. Place it in a glass (or other) dish.
You don’t need to season the dish first. Once the asparagus is layered nicely in the pan, put the cloves and rosemary on top. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle olive oil on top. Using your hands (or a wooden spoon) mix well by tossing the asparagus. Then bake.

Baked Asparagus with Rosemary and Garlic
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. fresh asparagus
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 Tablespoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Wash and drain asparagus
- Lay in a glass (or other) pan
- Chop and dice garlic cloves and sprinkle on top
- Sprinkle with rosemary
- Drizzle olive oil on top
- Stir with spoons or your fingers
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until the heads are just turning crispy
