Apples are a part of the autumn season – as well as good for any time of the year. Because an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
This apple dip is such an easy recipe and fits the bill for simple, easy, and delightful to serve.
In addition to apples, you need three other ingredients: cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla. As with any sweet treat, you can control the amount of sugar that you add.
I fixed this over our Thanksgiving weekend, and the gang kept coming back for more. Yours will, too, I’m sure. I got the recipe from my niece Bonita, who got it from her mother.
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth
- Refrigerate until ready to serve
- Serve with thinly sliced apples
