White Bread or Dinner Roll Recipe
Another bread recipe
When you’re in the mood for a new white bread recipe, you ask your sisters. At least that’s what I did. Loretta does not remember where she got this recipe, but she has adapted it for her use. We had to estimate on the amount of flour because our mother’s daughters just dump flour in until it’s right. I made this same white bread recipe but forgot to count the cups of flour I dumped in. So go easy at first and keep adding!
This recipe is good for dinner rolls or for bread. Or you can mix up a batch and make both at the same time. Make the rolls for your dinner that evening and finish the dough with bread for later.
Any bread with milk as an ingredient will be a softer bread, that we know. Sometimes we’re low in milk so a recipe without milk works as well. My hubby ran a loaf down to our neighbor who was recovering from heart surgery. I’m told her daughter couldn’t get her mask off fast enough to sample the bread, still warm from the oven.
