Cooked Carrots with Maple Glaze

A simple notch-it-up for cooked carrots that adds flair and flavor to this vegetable

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. carrots baby, regular, sliced or in rounds
  • Dash of salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • Peel carrots, then slice
  • Cook in water until just tender
  • Melt butter and Maple Syrup in microwave or in kettle on stove top
  • Drain water off carrots and add butter/maple syrup mixture
  • Simmer for 3-5 minutes until glaze thickens slightly
  • Serve
