Succotash

A vegetable dish that is colorful and tasty

Ingredients
  

  • 1 quart corn
  • 2+ cups lima beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Put corn and limas into kettle.
  • Add water - enough to fill the bottom of the kettle; you can always add more
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Cook until heated through
  • Add butter
  • Simmer until butter is melted
  • Test taste and add more seasoning, water, or butter as needed
