- 1 cup water
- 1 or 2 eggs
- Optional Salt and Pepper
Put water into a small skillet - bring to a boil
Turn burner down to simmer or low
Crack eggs into the water
Cover with a lid
Cook about 2 minutes - depending on how soft or hard you want your eggs
Remove from water and serve
