Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

A tasty way to serve cucumbers at a tea or even for a child's party.

- 2 seedless cucumbers ends trimmed
- 12 slices white sandwich bread
- 6 ounces whipped cream cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill I have used regular dill
- 1 tablespoon onion and/or garlic powder
Mix whipped cream cheese, dill, and onion/garlic together
Trim ends of cucumber (peeling cucumber is optional)
Cut each cucumber crosswise into 4 equal pieces
Thinly slice each cucumber piece lengthwise into strips
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture onto the bread slices
Divide the cucumber evenly among 6 slices
Top with remaining bread.
Trim the crusts and cut into quarters.
