An easy, mix-it-up-n-the-pan hot fudge cake. When you need a simple, quick, but tasty dessert, this one fits the bill. There's so little clean up as well.

Ingredients
  

  • Bottom layer:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 Tablespoon cocoa
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • Middle layer:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Top layer:
  • 2 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions
 

  • In an ungreased 9 x 13 pan, stir together flour, cocoa, salt, ugar, and baking powder
  • Add milk, vanilla, and oil and mix until smooth, then spread evenly in pan
  • In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cocoa, and sugar, then spread over batter
  • Pour hot water over batter
  • Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until cake is not doughy on top
  • Let stand for 10 minutes
  • Serve hot with ice cream
