A Soft Boiled Egg

A simple but nutritious breakfast. Protein for the start, and tasty for the picky. Serve with fruit and a piece of toast if you need more energy for the day

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Put water into kettle and bring to a boil
  • Add eggs gently
  • Set timer for 6 minutes
  • Turn burner down until the water is bubbling but not boiling out of the kettle
  • Keep lid on the kettle
  • After 6 minutes, remove from water
  • Pour cold water over egg OR immerse in cold water
  • Peel top portion or entire portion of egg
  • Serve in egg cup or another small dish
  • Season with Salt and Pepper as desired
