A Soft Boiled Egg

A simple but nutritious breakfast. Protein for the start, and tasty for the picky. Serve with fruit and a piece of toast if you need more energy for the day

Total Time 7 minutes mins

- 2 cups water
- 2 eggs
- Salt and Pepper
Put water into kettle and bring to a boil
Add eggs gently
Set timer for 6 minutes
Turn burner down until the water is bubbling but not boiling out of the kettle
Keep lid on the kettle
After 6 minutes, remove from water
Pour cold water over egg OR immerse in cold water
Peel top portion or entire portion of egg
Serve in egg cup or another small dish
Season with Salt and Pepper as desired
