Pizza Crust Stromboli

Stromboli in pizza crust is a simple and easy recipe to make. It's also versatile, and you can switch it up for the ingredients you like best.

- 1 roll pizza dough
- 1 lb. hamburger fried
- 1 sliced onion
- 1/2 pepper diced (optional)
- 1/2 cup+ mushrooms - canned or fresh
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg wash: 1 egg beaten 1 Tablespoon water OR milk, mixed
Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil
Add hamburger and stir
Add Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, and stir
Top with mozzarella cheese
Simmer just a bit until cheese is partially melted
Roll dough out onto a cookie tray
Spoon mixture in the middle
Bring all four edges dough up to cover hamburger mixture
Turn over so the edges are on the bottom
Using a serrated knife, put slits in the top
Brush with egg wash
Let sit for about 5-10 minutes, then bake
Bake at 375-400 for 20 minutes
