Watermelon Slush
watermelon slush – a great snack!
Watermelon slush (or slushie, if you prefer), is a refreshing after-school or after-work drink that is easy to make. Add a touch of ice cream (or yogurt) to give it a creamy flair.
I wish I had thought about this when my kids were young. This is a snack I would have been serving, for sure.
This snack is a great way to use up watermelon with a different flair. Serve it up in a clear glass and your kids will ask for more.
A blender helps make this watermelon slush easy. If you don’t have a blender, use a whisk or mixer to blend your watermelon into a slushy, frothy mixture. Then add your ice cream or yogurt. You’ll have your own watermelon float.
